Hey, I’m Nate — a data-driven design and AI consultant with a background in product design, web development, and entrepreneurship. I was raised in a multicultural family, which gave me an early appreciation for different perspectives and ways of thinking. That curiosity led me to study Industrial Design at California State University, Long Beach, where I learned how to turn ideas into tangible products.

After graduating, I worked with several startups and eventually became Creative Director at a tech startup in the San Francisco Bay Area. When the 2009 recession hit and the company shut down, it became a turning point for me. I grew deeply interested in how businesses are built from the ground up—and how thoughtful products, systems, and services can meaningfully improve people’s lives.My background in design and data science allows me to connect technical possibilities with human values, ensuring AI solutions are not only effective, but also responsible and accessible.

Since then, I’ve worn many hats. I founded an online fashion brand, became Chief Creative Officer of a growing school in Bali, and launched a nonprofit in Thailand called Less Plastic to support sustainability initiatives. I also helped co-found an art festival in Chiang Mai as a way to make art more accessible to the local community. These days, my work sits at the intersection of design, data, and AI. While my roles have spanned different industries, my core focus has always stayed the same: creative problem-solving and building more sustainable, human-centered systems. Outside of work, I’m an avid traveler—I’ve been to over 50 countries and lived in five. I’m always open to new collaborations, so feel free to reach out and let’s chat.
